The Morristown Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program transitioned to a “6+2” X+Y framework in the 2019-20 academic year. Our residents have a cycle of six weeks of inpatient or outpatient rotations followed by two weeks of ambulatory medicine. Rotation blocks are typically two or four weeks in duration.
