Stringent safety measures and cleaning procedures are in place to ensure the safety of patients and caregivers throughout Morristown, Overlook, Newton, Hackettstown and Chilton medical centers, as well as Goryeb Children’s Hospital. Guidelines from both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Jersey Department of Health are being followed.

Intense back pain sent local musician Tony K. to the Emergency Department at Newton Medical Center. There, a surgical team used their skills and experience to remove his gallbladder laparoscopically. Thanks to the great care Tony received, he and his band were able to perform at the Wine & Roses fundraiser only four days later.
When Shannon D. was rushed to the Emergency Department, the cause of her symptoms was quickly discovered to be hyperthyroidism. For successful treatment, Shannon needed the help of a cardiologist, endocrinologist, as well as surgeon and otolaryngologist Tom Thomas, MD. With this team of doctors working together, Shannon’s symptoms were brought under control, and she regained control of her life.
