Pike County Teen Family Resource Center

Pike County Teen and Family Resource Center offers a variety of services to Pike County, Pa., adolescents and families, including assistance with mental health, disability, alcohol and substance abuse issues. Services are available at a variety of locations, including Milford Health & Wellness. Our mobile model works best while working with school, medical and mental health providers and community agencies committed to promoting healthy families.

Services are provided free of charge thanks to the generosity of the Pike County Health Fund and Newton Medical Center.

Our Services

Botvin LifeSkills® Training Program
Botvin LifeSkills® Training is a 30-year-old, evidence-based substance abuse prevention program for teens (middle and high school students) and their parents. The program is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, the American Medical Association and the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention.

Savvy Caregiver
A four-part educational program for families of someone with memory loss

More Than Sad
A one-session program for teens that teaches the signs and symptoms of depression, encourages teens to seek help from a trusted adult and demystifies depression treatment.

Assess Your Stress
Stress assessments with recommendations for relieving stress. Additional services and resources provided as needed. This service is available monthly at the Milford Health & Wellness Center conference room.
