Sean M Wilkinson, DO

Sean M. Wilkinson, DO, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, part of Premier Health Associates, specializing in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He has more than five years of experience treating shoulder and knee injuries, including primary joint replacement surgery and minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures. He utilizes the latest in orthopedic treatments and surgical solutions including biologic and robotic technology. His deep passion for taking care of athletes in all stages of their career and managing orthopedic injuries is rooted in his deep love of being active, as he has been active his entire life in multiple sports and outdoor activities.

Dr. Wilkinson earned both his medical degree and performed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. He then completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Cincinnati, OH. He also obtained a BA in biology from La Salle University, Philadelphia, PA. He served as a team physician for Sparta High School, Princeton High School, Wittenberg University, the professional MLB team the Cincinnati Reds, the North American Hockey League team the Philadelphia Rebels, and the Philadelphia Fight Rugby League.

Dr. Wilkinson has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and poster presentations, and is a member of prominent organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedics, Sigma Sigma Phi National Honor Society, and the American Osteopathic Association. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
