Rita Belobrov, APN

Rita Belobrov, MSN, APN, is a family nurse practitioner and a member of Atlantic Medical Group Gastroenterology at Morristown. She is licensed by the State of New Jersey as an advanced practice nurse, certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners with more than 10 years of experience. She has over six years of experience in gastroenterology, specifically in therapeutic endoscopy. She has previously worked in family medicine, pediatrics, ENT, urgent care and radiation oncology.
Working in collaboration with specialists in gastroenterology, Rita focuses on treating patients with inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis. Additionally, she provides comprehensive care to patients with GERD, colon cancer screening, diverticulitis, abdominal pian, liver disease, irritable bowel syndrome, esophageal disorders, pancreatic disease and nutritional counseling. She is dedicated to helping with preventative care and educating patients on overall health and well-being related to gastroenterology.
Rita earned her bachelor of arts in biology from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. She completed her bachelor and master of science degrees in nursing at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now called Rutgers School of Nursing), in Newark. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
