Laura Dhariwal, MD

Dr. Laura Dhariwal is a specialist in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery with Atlantic Medical Group Urogynecology Associates. A fellowship-trained Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive surgeon and board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Dhariwal evaluates and manages the care of women with urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Blending her knowledge in urology, gynecology, obstetrics and surgery, Dr. Dhariwal educates women about minimally invasive surgical options for these often uncomfortable female issues. Her goal is to reassure her patients that there are effective long-term solutions that will positively impact their quality of life. Dr. Dhariwal is affiliated with Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and pursued her internship and residency at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine in New York, where she received the resident award for excellence in female pelvic medicine and reconstruction and the resident teaching award in obstetrics and gynecology. Her fellowship training took place at Atlantic Health System’s Morristown Medical Center. Dr. Dhariwal has an extensive list of published work and presentations, as well as community-led outreach, teaching initiatives and scholarly activities. She is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Dhariwal is also a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
