Dr. Abhishek Singh is a fellowship-trained heart failure cardiologist and medical director of the Atlantic Medical Group Heart Success Program, the Advanced Heart Failure program at Morristown Medical Center. He is board-certified in cardiology, advanced heart failure, and transplant cardiology.
Dr. Singh uses evidence-based medicine to co-manage advanced and complicated heart failure and pulmonary hypertension patients with referring physicians. He cares for patients with hard-to-control heart conditions by implementing electrophysiologic and hemodynamic support devices with a multidisciplinary team. He utilizes right heart catheterization with exercise coupled to a metabolic cart (invasive CPET) to help determine the various contributors for a patient’s dyspnea. He also evaluates and manages pre- and post-heart transplant patients.
After receiving his medical degree from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Singh headed west to pursue his internship and residency at the University of California San Francisco. He remained there for his cardiology fellowship in the molecular medicine program (physician-scientist training program). He returned to the East Coast to pursue a second fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. He has an extensive list of published work, has lectured internationally, and has participated in research studies funded by the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Singh maintains membership in the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation and the American Heart Association. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.

- 5.0Dec 30, 2024Excellent service.

- 5.0Dec 12, 2024I realize that I was in a hospital setting, and that critical situations so arise. However, to be out in a closed exam room and left there for over an hour with no word as to what is going on is, in my book, disrespectful of me and my time and shows poor time management skills. I have the highest regard for this doctor's intellect and caring when with me, but this problem doesn't cut it. To compound matters, my wife was with me, so her time was lost as well. For what it's worth, I did get a very quick apology from the doctor, but the damage was done. The secondary reason I would not recommend this hospital is because the parking situation is abysmal! I have literally seen cars slam into parked cars trying to fit into a space because there are not enough spaces and they are too tight for the large trucks and SUVs on the road these days. I have shared my view with nurses who say that they face the same situation daily. That makes me wonder if upper management and doctors face the same issue. My guess is no.
