Newton Medical Center Festival of Lights

Presented by Newton Medical Center Foundation, the C. Edward McCracken Festival of Lights is a festive, heartwarming event where the Newton Medical Center community gathers together to usher in the holiday season.

Newton Medical Center Foundation is pleased to announce that George W. Morville, Jr. has been named the 2024 Community Honoree of this year’s C. Edward McCracken Festival of Lights.

A lifelong Sussex County resident and Sr. Vice President of Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, George has served on the Newton
Medical Center Foundation Board for 28 years and was a past chair. In addition, he previously served on the Newton Medical Center Community Advisory Board.

George has been active in many additional organizations throughout Sussex County, including Newton Rotary, Sussex County Chamber of Commerce, Pass it Along, United Way of Sussex County and the Kittatinny Regional High School and Frankford Township Boards of Education.

“We’re so excited to celebrate George as our Community
Honoree,” said Megan Sandow, Chief Philanthropy Officer, Newton Medical Center Foundation. “His legacy of giving and sharing his time and talents with Newton Medical Center, the Foundation and so many other worthy organizations clearly demonstrate how dedicated George is to the well-being of his fellow Sussex County residents.”

The C. Edward McCracken Festival of Lights is a time-honored annual tradition that will be held on Saturday, November 16th on the campus of Newton Medical Center. Family fun for all will begin at 4:30pm with festive treats and the chance to meet Santa and other special guests. At 5:30pm, the Community Tree Lighting will take place, immediately followed by fireworks.

As always, all proceeds from the C. Edward McCracken Festival of Lights will support programs and services at Newton Medical Center.
